Hendon finished in 3rd place in the Ryman Premier this season, despite losing 1-0 to Chesham United at Claremont Road. Results elsewhere condemmed Chesham to relegation and ensured that St. Albans City couldn't get the points required to leapfrog the Greens. The only goal of the game came in the 82nd minute when the Generals were awarded a penalty - David Hook bringing down a substitute in the penalty area and recieving his marching orders. Michael Woolner took over the number one shirt and despite getting his hands to the ball, Grant Cooper's penalty was just about good enough to ensure victory for the away side.
