Hendon lost their last pre-season fixture 2-3 at Gresley Rovers this afternoon, despite taking an early lead. It was Dale Binns who netted in just the 11th minute, finishing off a good move involving Richard Evans, Scot Cousins and Eugene Ofori. However, James Burgess scored an own goal at the other end, equalising with a 25 yard header which went over Dave King. Craig Hopkins put the Rovers ahead, capitalising on a Steve Forbes mistake in midfield, although Cook did equalise for the Greens just before half time. The second half saw less action, although in the 81st minute Gresley found the winner through Liam Hebberd.
