The reserves lost 2-1 this evening to a Slough Town side filled with experience, including former Hendon favourite Freddie Hyatt. Hendon took the lead in the 22nd minute when a cross from Joel Bevis was touched on by Slough keeper Alan Foster for Jon-Barrie Bates to head home from close range. Slough came back into the game well in the second half and equalised on the hour mark when Andrew Deaner scored a quite excellent goal from the edge of the area after excellent build up. The winning goal came in the 83rd minute when Matthew Seedal broke clear of the defence and slotted the ball past Dean Lindsay.
