On Monday afternoon, we are due to travel to Billericay Town for the first of our holiday fixtures. Clearly, whether the game goes ahead hinges on what the weather brings over the next 72 hours. As always, as soon as we get any updates from Billericay, we will update the website and the postponement hotline.
Our opponents go into the festive season in 8th place, just two spots head of us, and have 29 points from their 18 games. As with any side managed by Craig Edwards, they will be a tough side to beat. The good news for Hendon supporters is that there are no new reported injuries, and with the likes of Glenn Garner and Aaron Morgan having returned to action, the squad is rapidly nearing full strength once again.
Supporters travelling by public transport are advised that there are engineering works between Liverpool Street and Ilford. National Express East Anglia advise that you should travel to Newbury Park on the Central Line, and then there will be a rail replacement bus that will take you direct to Billericay. Buses are due to depart from Newbury Park at 10 and 40 minutes past the hour and take approximately 45 minutes to reach Billericay.
Kick off at New Lodge on Monday will be at 3.00pm.
