Hendon completed a hat-trick of Middlesex Senior Cup final wins as they beat Uxbridge 3-1 after extra time. However, they had to do it the hard way after Dale Binns was sent off in the 58th minute for retaliation. The Greens took the lead in the 50th minute when Eugene Ofori found the net after some excellent battling from Ricci Crace. Uxbridge equalised five minutes later when a free kick was turned home by Mark Weedon.
The ten men worked hard throughout the second half to take the game into extra time, and their rewards came in stoppage time of the first half of extra time. First of all Dave Hunt fired home after Ofori sent the ball across the area, and within a minute Martin Randall had found the net to give the Greens a two goal cushion. Despite losing Mark Cooper to a suspected Achillies injury during extra time, the defence held firm for the remaining 15 minutes to win the cup once again.
