Hendon slumped from their long held second position in the league to fourth this afternoon, going down 1-4 at Kettering Town. In truth, the Greens were never really in the game, and were lucky to go in at half time with the scoreline still at 0-0. However, Kettering made better use of their chances in the second half, and struck three times in the minutes through Craig McIlwain, Chris Difante and Richard Graham to leave the score at 3-0 with only around twenty minutes to go. Substitute Ricci Crace did score a for the Dons in the 79th minute, but a last minute effort from Wayne Diuk made sure of the home side's third victory over Hendon this season.

Results elsewhere meant that Sutton (with a 5-0 win) and Thurrock (winning 2-0) rose above Hendon, but a 10 minute hat-trick from Lee Boylan at Canvey Island prevented Hornchurch from snatching another place from the Greens.
