Two goals in the last ten minutes earnt Hendon a point against Bury Town this evening at Vale Farm in another entertaining encounter that ended 3-3.
Bury drew first blood in the 10th minute when Chris Henderson scored from the penalty spot, and the lead was doubled twenty minutes later by Lee Reed. Hendon were back in the game shortly afterwards when Tom Bullard headed the ball into his own net. However, in the 41st minute, Bullard redeemed himself by scoring at the right end.
The second half saw the Greens show great character to try and get something out of the game. Their initial reward game in the 82nd minute when James Parker scored his first goal of the season, and with a minute of normal time left on the clock, Jamie Busby scored a stunning volley from 25 yards that nearly ripped the net from the goal.
