Gary McCann has increased his striking options ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie at Chelmsford City by securing the signature of fans favourite Brian Haule.

The 26 year old striker rejoins the club for his third spell on a dual-registration from Hemel Hempstead Town. We have checked with the FA, and they have confirmed that he has not appeared in the FA Cup this season. Therefore, Brian will be included in the squad for the game at Chelmsford.

Brian originally came through the reserve team before scoring on his debut in September 2002 at Hampton & Richmond Borough, before moving on to Harrow Borough a few weeks later. He returned in November 2006 from Maidenhead United, and quickly became a firm favourite and before leaving the club just over a year ago, he had scored 51 goals in 127 appearances.

We are all delighted to see Brian back at the club, and hope that he enjoys his time with us once again.
