Hendon drew 0-0 this afternoon against Leyton at Claremont Road in a game which was attended by Ryman League chairman Alan Turvey. The game was really only notable for the shortage of clearcut chances. Both defences held firm against their opposing attackers, while neither midfield really took a grip on the match. Hendon's best second half chance fell to Richard McDonagh who saw his 20 yard drive fly just wide of the post. The result leaves Hendon in 6th place, but just two points behind new leaders Cheshunt, but equally just five points clear of 18th placed Salisbury City in a very tight league table.
