Hendon put in their worst performance of the season by far this afternoon as they were beaten 5-1 at AFC Sudbury, resulting in the annual early exit from the FA Trophy.
Despite taking the lead through Lubo Guentchev after 16 minutes, the Greens were poor throughout the pitch and Rhys Darg equalised a few minutes later. By half-time it was 2-1 as Dave Wareham put the home side ahead.
AFC Sudbury took control of the game and scored three more times courtesy of James Baker, Darg and James Emmanuel to secure progression to the next round.
