It was another miserable evening for Hendon as they lost 2-0 at Staines Town. After a bright start, the game was lost in the space of 10 first half minutes. Firstly a defensive error let in Richard Butler to give the Swans the lead on the half hour mark, and then ten minutes later Kevin Maclaren was sent off for violent conduct when he retaliated to a challenge from Lewis Cook. This left the Greens chasing the game with a man down, and despite their best efforts they were caught on the break in the 75th minute when Butler scored his second. Hendon's best chance fell to Kayan Kalipha, but his header from a James Burgess cross flew narrowly wide of the goal.
