The only youth team in action this weekend were the under 16's who beat Pinnacle 5-2 despite being a goal down at half time. Within two minutes of the restart Marcel Byfield equalised and soon afterwards Gomes and Byfield had put Hendon 3-1 in front. Byfield completed his hat-trick on the hour mark only for Pinnacle to pull a goal back. However it was Raj Ahmed who had the final word scoring the fifth goal for the young Dons. They will travel to Enfield Rangers in the third round on the 19th December.
On the same day the Under 15's will open their county cup campaign in the third round with a trip to Northwood or Edson after they were given a walkover in the second round after Hampton Harriers withdrew from the competition.
Next weekend all four teams are due to be in action. The under 18's are away to league leaders Turkish Community on Saturday afternoon, while on Sunday the under 16's travel to Brook House in the league cup, the under 15's travel to Headstone Manor B and the under 12's entertain Celtic A at Copthall Playing Fields in a game that will kick off at 10.30am.
