Hendon completed their first double of the season with a 1-0 win at Dover Athletic. The goal came in the 23rd minute when Mark Nicholls converted a spot kick for his 20th goal of the season after he had been fouled in the area by Dover keeper Dominique Jean-Zepharin. The Greens had chances to extend the lead in the first half, the best of which fell to Eugene Ofori who shot wide. Dover took the game to Hendon after the break but lacked any real cutting edge, and Dave King was able to deal comfortably with what was sent his way. The game became scrappier as the rain and wind took hold, but the Greens were able to hold on to start 2005 with three points.
