Hendon face a replay against Dulwich Hamlet on Wednesday evening after they failed to overcome a side that had 10 men for 48 minutes today. However, in the first half Hendon played much better than in recent weeks and deservedly took the lead in the 23rd minute when a corner was only half cleared and Rakatahr Hudson rifled the ball home from 20 yards into the roof of the net. The Greens then grew in confidence and were boosted further in the 42nd minute when Mohamed Coly was sent off for a second caution.
There was controversy in the 53rd minute when Jamie Lunan parried the ball into the path of Dave Diedhiou who knocked the ball over the line. However, the referee ruled that the ball had been kicked out of Lunan's hands. Dulwich then came back into the game with two quick goals in the 67th and 69th minutes. Firstly Gary Noel scored from an acute angle, and then Marc Cumberbatch scored from close range. Hendon battled and in the 78th minute equalised with Harry Hunt sent in a low shot that hit the post and rolled over the line.
The replay will take place at Harrow Borough's ground on Wednesday evening, kicking off at 7.45pm.
