Hendon continued their good run of results this afternoon with a 1-0 victory over relegation haunted Kingstonian. Kingstonian very nearly took the lead within a few seconds of the start when they hit the bar and probably had the edge in terms of possession in the first half. Hendon's best first half chance came shortly before the break when Eugene Ofori shot just wide. The decisive goal came in the 54th minute when a scuffed cross from Dave Hunt somehow found Ross Pickett who in turned scuffed a chipped shot over Andy Iga and into the net. The Greens then held on reasonably comfortably with the defensive trio of René Street, Steve McGrath and Dean Coppard working hard to keep the clean sheet with Dave King.
