Hendon gained revenge for the Christmas defeat against Wealdstone as they came from behind twice to win 3-2 at a warm White Lion Ground this afternoon. Wealdstone took the lead in the 36th minute when the Jermaine Beckford finished clinically, but within three minutes the Greens had equalised when John Frendo fired home a cross from Eugene Ofori. The Stones regained the lead in the 58th minute when Richard Jolly converted a spot kick after a Wealdstone player was pulled down in the box by Steve McGrath. However, Hendon refused to give up and equalised again in the 70th minute when Ofori managed to slide the ball over the line from very close range after both McGrath and Ross Pickett had hit the bar. The winning goal came six minutes later when a free kick from Richard McDonagh was met by a René Street bullet header that screamed into the net across the Wealdstone keeper.
