Hendon could quite easily be accused of daylight robbery as they pinched a 3-1 victory from the jaws of defeat at Slough Town tonight. After a goalless first half in which Slough gradually took control, it was no great surprise when they took the lead through Matt Seedel in the 48th minute. The Rebels looked far more likely to score until shortly after the Greens made a double substitution replacing Andy Sherry and Richard McDonagh with James Burgess and Shayne Demetrious. In the 69th minute Ross Pickett scored the equaliser somehow firing the ball through a number of defenders from an acute angle. In the 85th minute John Frendo gave Hendon the lead when he fired home following a Burgess free kick and in the final minute of normal time, Pickett bundled the ball home from close range to complete the scoring and confirm the three points that had been heading to Slough.
