John Frendo was this evening named as the player's player of the season at a get together in the clubhouse. Club captain René Street was runner up in the vote. The chairman's award went to Gary McCann and Andy Pape in recognition of their efforts over the past three months to turn around the club's fortunes, while Gary himself awarded the clubman of the year award to groundsman and kitman Ted Peck as a thank you for all the hard work he puts in behind the scenes. The only award left outstanding is the Greensnet player of the year which will be announced on this website next weekend and awarded at the first game of next season.
