Hendon were outclassed by Ryman League champions Yeading this evening as they went down to a 3-0 defeat. Yeading took full control of the first half and at times ran the Greens ragged. They took the lead in the 10th minute through Marvin Morgan, doubled the lead three minutes later with a counter attack finished by Charlie Mapes before Morgan scored the third shortly before half time. Hendon's best first half chance fell to Kieran Gallagher who fired a long free kick on target with Delroy Preddie at full strength to tip it over the bar. The Greens came back into the game in the second half despite making a number of changes. The best chances in the second half fell to Danny Julienne and Billy Matthews who saw their attempts well saved by the substitute keeper.
