The Ryman Football League have announced that Westview Rail Ltd. is to sponsor the League Cup and the League's Youth Cup competitions for the next three seasons starting with the 2005/06 campaign. The competitions will be known as "The Westview Cup" and "The Westview Youth Cup". League Chairman Alan Turvey said, "The Directors are delighted to have secured a three year sponsorship for both the League Cup and the reintroduced Youth Cup competitions for the next three seasons and look forward to working with Westview Rail."
Mick Woodward, Managing Director of Westview Rail, said, "Our Company are pleased to be associated with the prestigious Ryman Football League which has great traditions and is closely associated with local communities. Support of their two cup competitions helps bring soccer to the community, and we are particularly pleased to have an involvement in young players through the Youth Cup."
61 clubs will participate in the Westview Cup this season, with Hendon joining in the Third Round in November, while the Youth Cup, last won by Lewes in 1992, will have 32 participating this season, one of which will be the Greens.
