It was honours even at Maidstone United this evening, as the game ended 2-2 on a chilly Kent evening. Maidstone were the better side in the opening period and deservedly took the lead in the 24th minute through Danny Hockton.
As has often been the case, Hendon fought back in the second half and equalised ten minutes into the period through Casey Maclaren. The Greens then took the lead in the 68th minute when Jamie Busby scored from the penalty spot after Belal Aite-Ouakrim had been fouled in the box. However, Maidstone were able to get back into the game courtesy of an 82nd minute equaliser from Joe Vines.
