John Frendo hit a hat-trick this afternoon as Hendon opened their FA Cup campaign with a convincing 6-0 win over Biggleswade United. It was Frendo that opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a fine volley from an inch perfect cross from Danny Murphy. Frendo then doubled the lead in the 38th minute to make the score 2-0 at half time. Ross Pickett scored number three from close range in the 56th minute before Youness Nabil scored his first goal for the club in the 66th minute with a fine shot across the keeper. Two minutes later it was 5-0 as Mark Burgess slammed the loose ball home from 20 yards to also score his first goal for the club in his 103rd appearance, before Frendo completed the scoring in the 73rd minute. The draw for the next round takes place on Monday, and the games will be played on Saturday 24th September.
