The first team return to league action on Saturday afternoon as they travel into Essex to play Heybridge Swifts. Scraley Road has generally been something of a good hunting ground for the Greens, and many games have seen plenty of goals, including a 6-5 defeat in the Full Members Cup. Last season Heybridge won 5-2 in the corresponding fixture. The Swifts have had a mixed start to the season winning three and losing three of their games so far, lying in 10th place in the league. They progressed in the FA Cup last week with a 1-0 win at Arlesey Town. The game at Scraley Road kicks off at the usual time of 3.00pm.
