Hendon beat Margate 1-0 this afternoon in the FA Trophy, with a third minute effort from Harry Hunt being enough to see the away side through into the draw for the next round. Margate created a number of openings in a fairly even first half, Wilmot having to be alert enough to deny the home team several times, while they enjoyed the lion's share of posession in the second, but failed to create much before having a late penalty shout turned down.

The next round will take place on November 1st, with the FA making the draw as usual at midday on Monday.
