Heybridge Swifts were simply bigger, stronger and better than Hendon this afternoon as they won 3-0 at Scraley Road. The Greens were beaten in all departments, but could not be faulted for the effort that they put in throughout the 90 minutes. Heybridge took the lead in the 27th minute through Cliff Akurang, and scored twice in three second half minutes courtesy of Sean Marks and Akurang again. Hendon did have chances, the best of which fell to Belal Aiteouakrim who fired just over the bar but Heybridge thoroughly deserved the three points. Fortunately other results have gone in the Greens favour, meaning that they remain 16th in the table.
