Hendon picked up another point in their battle to avoid the drop as they came back twice to draw 2-2 at Maldon Town this afternoon. However, the Greens were left rueing their defending from set pieces as both Maldon goals came from them. Maldon took the lead in the 7th minute when Hendon failed to defend a corner and allowed a free header and that is how it stayed until half time. The Greens equalised in the 69th minute when Blaise O'Brien scored from the spot, but in the 83rd minute Maldon regained the lead after a free header across goal from a free kick. The second equaliser was scored just a minute later by Ross Pickett who bundled the ball home from close range.
