Although the first team finished their season over a month ago, Gary McCann has been working non-stop arranging a busy schedule as he looks to build upon the excellent finish to last season.
There is one home game in the schedule, which is against a Dagenham & Redbridge XI on Saturday 11th July. The final details for this game are yet to be sorted out, and we will confirm the kick off time soon. On Friday 17th and Saturday 18th we are taking part in a four team charity tournament at Hillingdon Borough. The other two teams inolved are Slough Town, who are now managed by Steve Bateman, and Bracknell Town. The charity benefitting from the proceeds of the tournament is Michael Sobell House who are based at Mount Vernon Hospital. The full schedule for the tournament will be announced nearer the time.
All the rest of our friendlies are away from home, starting with a trip to Blue Square Premier newboys Hayes & Yeading United on Wednesday 8th July. This game will be played at Yeading FC's old ground in Beaconsfield Road. This will be our first game against the new club formed by the merger of Hayes and Yeading two years ago. The full pre-season schedule can be found on the fixtures page.
