The first team return to league action this weekend as they entertain Croydon Athletic at Vale Farm. The controversy and drama at Croydon Athletic so far this season has been well documented, but at least their supporters still have a club to support.
They have played just 5 games so far this season, picking up 7 points in the process. Their most recent game was last Friday when they travelled to Aveley with a new look squad, and despite holding their hosts for 81 minutes, went down to a 3-0 defeat.
The Rams have two very experienced managers in charge now in Dave Garland and Bob Langford, and they have been spending the last couple of weeks putting together a squad on a very limited budget.
Gary McCann will be keen to build on the FA Cup victory last weekend by returning to winning ways on Saturday, and he will be certain to make sure that the players are focused correctly.
Supporters travelling by public transport will be pleased to note that the Bakerloo and Piccadilly Lines, as well as the London Overground are running a normal service on Saturday. However, we do advise that there is no service on the Jubilee Line between Waterloo and Stanmore.
Kick off at Vale Farm is at 3.00pm, the bar will be open from 12.00pm and the turnstiles will open about 2.00pm.
