Hendon failed to hit the target for the second game running as they lost 2-0 this evening in their league cup tie with Harrow. The Greens did start well, and it looked like their visitors were going to be reduced to 10 men early on as Toby Jinadu pulled down Guentchev as he ran through on goal, but the defender was relieved as the referee ruled there wasn't a goalscoring opportunity. Later in the half, the Dons had their best chance of the game as they were awarded a penalty, but Gary Ross was equal to Brian Haule's effort.
Harrow looked little more threatening in the first half, but certainly had the better of the second, drawing several good stops from Will Viner. Unfortunately though, his efforts weren't enough as substitute Gary Noel - a recent signing for the away team - notched up goals in the 58th and 86th minute for Boro'.
