Hendon had a morale boosting but routine victory over Bedfont Green last night in the Middlesex Senior Cup. Running out 3-0 winners, the Greens were rarely troubled and took the lead in the 7th minute through Glenn Garner. Casey Maclaren doubled the lead four minutes later, with the third goal coming on the hour mark when a Sam Collins cross was turned into the net by a Bedfont defender. The game saw Chris Bangura and Mark Kirby both make their returns from injury as substitutes, giving the squad a much needed boost. Hendon will now face Harrow Borough in the quarter finals. The game is likely to be played on Wednesday 21st January at Vale Farm.
