Hendon won their first game of the season, eventually overcoming Flackwell Heath 4-3 in an entertaining league cup tie. Flackwell drew first blood in the 2nd minute when Jazz Rose deflected a corner into his own net, the Greens equalising shortly before half time when Lee O'Leary scored with a delicate lob. Flackwell restored the lead just after half time through Kieran Webb, before Jamie Clarke put the ball into his own net to equalise for the Greens on the hour mark. Rakatahr Hudson gave the greens the lead five minutes later, but Jon Donoghue equalised for Flackwell in the 78th minute. The winner came on the 90 minute mark when Wayne O'Sullivan scored with a fine 25 yard drive. The draw for the next round will be made by the league on Thursday.
