An outstanding second half performance saw Hendon win 4-1 at Leyton this afternoon. The first half was fairly even until Leyton took the lead on the stroke of half time, Leli Bajada finishing superbly. Within ten minutes of the restart the Greens had equalised through Brian Haule and twenty minutes later Belal Aiteouakrim put Hendon ahead. The best goal of the day, and possibly of the season, came in the 83rd minute when Jamie Busby hit an outstanding strike into the top corner of the net and Ross Pickett completed the scoring in stoppage time.
