A depleted Hendon side missing three defenders put in a hardworking performance to win 1-0 at Slough Town this afternoon. Had the Greens showed more confidence in front of goal the scoreline would surely have been more comfortable. The goal came in the 37th minute when Davis Haule got the final touch in a goalmouth scramble. Both the Slough keeper and a defender had chances to clear the ball but were only able to watch the ball spin slowly over the line. Slough were reduced to ten men towards the end of the game when Jon Mills was sent off for what appeared to be violent conduct.
