Match Report

Hampstead Town secured three League points out of their Easter holiday programme of matches.

On Easter Monday, on the Child's Hill ground, a welcome win was secured over Chelmsford in the return encounter by 3 goals to 1, and this despite the fact that Hampstead fielded only ten men practically throughout the game. C.B. Evans, in making a plucky clearance on the ground shortly after the start, sustained a bad gash in his right hand. He retired for the remainder of the game, and it is feared that he will be out of the side for some weeks. Hampstead's goals were scored by Travers Day and C. Wise (2).

Hampstead Town Reserves lost their home match with Catford Southend on Saturday by two goals to nil.

Tomorrow (Saturday) the well-known Bromley team visit the Child's Hill ground in the Athenian League. Kick-off 3.30.
