Hampstead [Town] failed badly in their Athenian League match with Enfield, which they lost by five goals to nil. For brief intervals only Hampstead showed their real form, the slippery state of the ground causing many mistakes on both sides, but whereas the home team took full advantage of their opportunities and scored their best win of the season, Hampstead failed to find the net.
