The under 14s won 7-0 against Hayes Gate to move up the table with Abdi Osman scoring a hat-trick. There was controversy at the under 15s game as Acton Ealing Whistlers started the game with 12 men. Despite this handicap the Greens picked up a 2-2 draw with Conrad Lewis scoring both goals. Saturday 28 October - Pickett the hero as Greens win

Captain Ross Pickett was the hero this afternoon as the Greens picked up their first win of the season, winning 2-0 at fellow strugglers Walton & Hersham. The first goal came in the 17th minute when he was sent clear to finish clinically, and just before half time he capitalised on a poor clearance from Walton keeper Nick Gindre to double the lead. The gloss was taken off the win slightly when Ryan Wharton was sent off for a second caution in injury time, Walton having earlier been reduced to ten men when Michael Murphy was sent off also for a second caution.

Tuesday 17 October - Another late error costs Greens

Hendon failed to pick up any points again during last night's away game at Folkestone. As usual, the Greens almost matched their opponents during the first half with Folkstone just shading the 45 minutes. Hendon went on to improve in the second half, with Pickett in particular guilty of missing a good chance to score. However, Folkestone made no such mistake in the 75th minute when a momentary concentration lapse allowed Flanagan a chance to put Invicta ahead.

Two errors at the back cost Hendon this evening as they lost 2-0 to Wealdstone in the London Senior Cup. The second goal came in the 77th minute when the Wealdstone attack broke through the defence to score. Hendon's best chances fell to Lee O'Leary and Dean Green but their efforts were either saved by the keeper or blocked by the defence.

Saturday 07 October - Last minute woe for Greens

Hendon went down 3-2 at Boreham Wood to an excellently executed free kick by Chris Watters five minutes into stoppage time. Hendon had the better of the exchanges in the first half having taken the lead in the 8th minute when Lee O'Leary got a decisive touch onto a Wayne O'Sullivan free kick that would otherwise have gone wide. However, just like Monday, the self destruct button was hit with two goals conceded in the opening five minutes of the second period both through Leon Archer. Lee O'Leary equalised in the 84th minute and just as it seemed the Greens had earned a deserved point, they gave away the free kick that was converted by Watters.
