Saturday 25 August - Angels stunned by late comeback

Hendon staged a stunning comeback to beat Tonbridge Angels 3-2 despite being two goals down with 30 seconds of normal time left on the clock. Tonbridge had gone ahead through a 28th minute Jon Main strike, and extended their lead in the 79th minute through Hamid Barr. With five minutes to go, the Greens were awarded a penalty. However, Brian Haule's penalty was easy for Matt Reed to gather.

However, the Greens refused to give up and in the 90th minute were awarded a freekick 20 yards from goal. Marc Leach stepped up and fired the ball low through a crowd of players into the goal. Within two minutes the Greens were on level terms as Brian Haule made up for the missed penalty by firing home the equaliser, and then almost from the restart, Wayne O'Sullivan cut in and fired the ball home for the winner.
