Thursday 22 June - Wilmot returns to Claremont Road

Gary McCann has confirmed this morning, following the recent press release by Hitchin Town, that he has secured the services of experienced 35 year old goalkeeper Richard Wilmot for the new campaign. The return of the popular goalkeeper, who made 21 appearances during a couple of loan spells in the 2000/01 season when Gary McCann was injured, means that we have two experienced keepers in Richard and Dave King competing for the keepers shirt for the forthcoming season. We welcome Richard back to the club, and hope that he enjoys his time with us as much as he appeared to do so last time. Richard has also been popular with our supporters when playing against us.

Gary hopes to have news of further new signings over the days and weeks to come as he prepares the squad for the forthcoming campaign. We ask all supporters to be aware that we will often not announce new signings until all the paperwork has been completed.

Monday 19 June - Raise money without leaving your PC

The more observant amongst you will have noticed that a number of new adverts have popped up on the website. As with the buy.at and Bet365 links these are opportunities for you to help raise money for the supporters trust. For purchases made after going through any of the adverts, the trust will earn commission. For example, if you use iTunes, the trust will earn 4% of everything you now buy through their store, as long as you go through the link on the website. All the links should be self explanatory, but we will be creating a separate page on the website in the next few weeks to explain exactly what is available through each advert. We urge supporters to use any of the links on the website if they are shopping online as it doesn't cost you anything extra to use the links through the adverts.
