Friday 29 March - Boreham Wood turned over

Hendon made it a trio of away wins this week, beating Boreham Wood 2-1 at Meadow Park. The first half saw little action of note, Hendon marginally having the better of the chances, but it was in the second half that the Dons found another gear. A good passing move ended with Steve Forbes laying a ball in to Randall, who slid the ball under Imber from around 10 yards for the first in the 54th minute. Ofori scored four minutes later, lobbing both center back Lee Harvey and Noel Imber to put the Greens 2-0 up. Jeran Meah equalised for the Wood in the 88th minute, from a set-piece, before Player-Manager Micky Engwell was sent off in the 96th minute for an elbow.

Tuesday 26 March - Eagles blown away

Bedford Town were comprehensively beaten tonight by Hendon, who ran out 5-0 winners at The New Eyire. Ofori and Randall both had good early chances come to nothing, the game then settling down until the 32nd minute when Binns was brought down just inside the penalty area, Martin Randall scoring from the resulting kick. Ofori followed up with a deflected shot around five minutes later to put the Greens 2-0 up into half time. Ofori's second came in the 67th minute, effectively killing off the game as a competition, but Bedford added two to Hendon's total before the final whistle. Derek Brown put a storming header past his own 'keeper, before Paul Wilson slid one past Lomas at the far post.

Saturday 23 March - Essex hoodoo smashed

Hendon appear to have smashed their Essex hoodoo in spectacular style with their last two games in the county, following December's 6-4 win at Billericay, with today's 6-1 win at Heybridge Swifts' Scrawley Road. The Greens had numerous chances to score, Randall netting the first from close range after 17 minutes, Ofori following in the 28th with a short header. Randall added a similar goal six minutes before half-time, and Bubb scored with a trademark 25 yard shot just before the break. Randall completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute nutmegging Matt Greenley, before a torrid afternoon for the Swifts' 'keeper was finished off by Crace who also put the ball between his legs. Heybridge scored what was little more than a consolation goal in the 89th minute.

Friday 22 March - Weekend preview

The first team hope to return to winning ways tomorrow afternoon as they make the long trip to Heybridge Swifts, who have also had a mixed season in the league. Tuesday 19 March - Borough take three points

Harrow Borough took all three points tonight, winning 1-0 at a wet LOOT Stadium. Hendon certainly had the better of the first half, and Mali international Keita Karamoko was tested more than once by the Greens, but they failed to break the dedlock. However, as the game went on, Harrow's desire to avoid relegation told as they put more pressure on former Borough 'keeper David Hook's goal. It finally told as Wayne Walters scored on the hour, converting a Mark Xavier cross.

Saturday 16 March - Greens and Canaries draw

Hendon drew with Hitchin Town at the LOOT Stadium this afternoon, the Canaries coming back twice to equalise. A early fifth minute goal from Byron Bubb put the Greens in control for much of the first half, but another goal was conceeded from a set-piece in the 37th minute. Cooper gave away a free-kick, from which Sean Marshall was able to head home. Hendon scored again, however, in the 42nd minute as Steve Butler was sent clear, to go in 2-1 ahead at half time. Sutton scored both their goals in the first half, first through Phil Wingfield with a 15th minute free kick, then in the 38th through a Matt Gray penalty. Hendon's best chances of the half fell to Simon Clarke, whose right foot shot was palmed over and a Michael Woolner free kick which just needed a touch to divert it into the net. In the second half, the Greens struggled to hit back until with about 5 minutes to go, Steve Butler headed home from a few yards out

Tomorrow night Hendon look to build on the weekend win at Kingstonian as they travel to Sutton United, who have been in good form, losing just once since mid-November in the League. However, last Tuesday they lost 3-0 to Tooting & Mitcham United in the Surrey Senior Cup, but recovered to beat Croydon 2-1 in the league on Saturday. It would be great to see as many supporters as possible at Gander Green Lane to get behind the team, as there is no doubt it is a boost to the players to hear the support.

Saturday 09 March - Greens do double over K's

Hendon beat Kingstonian for the second time this season, running out 2-1 winners at the K's Kingsmeadow stadium. It was clear immediately that the wind would play a big part in the game, and Hendon made good use of it in the first half, going in 2-0 up at half time. Bubb scored from a rebound in the 3rd minute for the first, and Crace scoring in the 28th from a Martin Randall cross. The K's couldn't make as much use of the wind as the Greens did in the second half, only managing one goal in the 60th minute.

Tuesday 05 March - Hendon through to the final

Hendon are through to the final of the Middlesex Senior Cup thanks to a 1-0 victory over fledgling side Enfield Town tonight. In all truth, had the Greens finishing been better, they could have run in a score close to those earlier in the competition, but had to be content with a 76th minute header from Steve Butler to see off the Town. Bubb and Ofori both failed to score good chances, whilst Steve Forbes had a penalty saved after Eugene Ofori was pushed over in the area. Enfield were not without their own chances, Steve Butler heading their most notable effort off the line. The only other incident of note was the sending off of Enfield Town's David Allen, presumably for violent conduct shortly after the Dons' goal.

Tomorrow evening sees the first ever visit of Enfield Town to the LOOT Stadium in the Middlesex Senior Cup Semi Final. In the previous round they beat Wealdstone 3-1, and have a few players in their squad who have previously played for Enfield. Your support is crucial tomorrow night as it is our final chance of silverware this season, so if it is at all possible get down to the ground and behind the players. Kick off is at 7.45pm

Saturday 02 March - Bodley goal enough for Canvey

A scrambled goal from Mick Bodley in the 23rd minute was enough to give Canvey Island a 1-0 win at The LOOT Stadium this afternoon. Hendon's best chances fell to Ricci Crace, but he saw one go wide, and another force Ashley Harrison into an excellent save in the Canvey goal. Hendon had the better of the second half, but were unable to find a way through a resolute Canvey defence.
