The first time picked up an important three points this afternoon as they won 3-1 at Staines Town.
Dave Diedhiou gave the Greens the lead in the 12th minute before Jeremy Boakye equalised on the half hour mark.
Kezie Ibe restored the lead midway through the second half, and Mark Kirby made sure of the points shortly before the end.

Carl McCluskey became the latest Hendon player to make his 100th appearance in this afternoon's victory at Staines Town.
Carl originally joined the club in the summer of 2011, making his debut in a 1-0 win over Concord Rangers on 20th August. He left midway through the 2013-14 season to join Wealdstone, and has also appeared for Edgware Town before returning a few weeks ago.
During his time with us so far he has scored 20 goals.

Our home game against Lewes will now be played on Monday 29th February, kick off at 7:45pm at Earlsmead.

We are making excellent progress and still on schedule to achieve the 31st March deadline for ensuring Silver Jubilee Park attains the required ground grading.
The spectator rail has been finished and the gates installed around the pitch. The hand rail has made a significant difference to the appearance of the ground.
The disabled stand base and the turnstile base will be complete on Thursday with new entrance gates installed. The old turnstile hut will be demolished on Monday and the new hand rail around the entrance will be complete.
The container that is currently in the car park at Earlsmead will be moved to SJP on Tuesday and be positioned near the new entrance gates. This will be partially converted to accommodate a club shop, which will then be in prime position for maximum customer flow.
The toilets are being fitted with the sanitary ware and will be completed in the next two weeks.
The Officials rooms have been boarded, plastered and now decorated. One will be functional with shower and toilet for Edgware's home game this Saturday. The home changing room is going to be of good size which will please Gary and the first team. Walls have been knocked down and the old bath demolished. Unfortunately the roof is full of holes and requires immediate repair which wasn't budgeted for. Also the central heating pipe was cut which hasn't helped during this cold spell. This resulted in a burst pipe in one of the officials rooms that had just been decorated. Two walls that were going to be removed no longer need to be and so we have been able to make up the time lost on burst pipes.
Please come along to the London Senior Cup tie against Croydon on Tuesday 9th February if you are able as it will give you a chance to see all the changes that have taken place over the past couple of months.

The weather has been kind to us again this week and has enabled the works to remain largely on schedule.
The new spectator rails were delivered on Monday and have been installed around half the pitch already. The first team saw the rail on Monday and were delighted with the look and agreed the ground was beginning to look better. The rail will be complete in the next few days weather permitting.
The outside toilets have been boarded and plastered and are now ready to be fitted by our first team plumbing expert Dean Cracknell and his company. The referees room has also been plastered and shower area tiled.
The changing rooms are next and we are devising a plan so matches can still be played whilst the refurbishment is taking place.
It was hoped that the dry changing room would be started this weekend, but the team are not able to get on site for another couple of weeks. This is our first setback but won't affect the completion date or the ground grading inspection.
We will need a working party in about a months time on a Sunday (date to be announced) to help with the clearing up of the site. This will include clearing some debris, removing moss and weeds from terracing, small painting jobs and erecting health and safety signs. Anyone interested in helping should contact Rob Morris via the club email address - email@example.com

It was another feast of goals at a very wet Earlsmead this afternoon as the first team ran out 4-3 winners against Wingate & Finchley.
However, the Greens twice had to come back from behind to secure the points after the visitors were both 2-0 and 3-2 ahead.
Billy Healey and Leon Solomon put Wingate ahead inside 25 minutes, only for Adam Wallace to score two quickfire goals to bring things level.
Daniel Brown restored the lead for Wingate in the 50th minute, but in the 64th minute Kezie Ibe equalised, and then he went on to score the winner eight minutes from time.

Posted at 14:39
Following sustained heavy rain since the first inspection, the match referee will undertake a second inspection at 2:30pm to see whether this afternoon's game can go ahead.
Further updates will appear on the website and twitter feed as soon as we get it.

The match referee has arrived at Earlsmead and having undertaken a pitch inspection has confirmed that the game can go ahead as planned.
Remember that is it a Pay What You Want game today, and we hope to see as many of you as possible there in a couple of hours.

We have just received news from Earlsmead that the pitch is playable, and today's game against Wingate & Finchley is currently expected to go ahead as planned.
However, as we are sure everyone will understand, the situation is liable to change depending on how much rain there is this morning, and whether the pitch drainage is able to cope.
Any final decision can only be made by the match referee, who is due to arrive at the ground by 1pm. We will update again later, but only if there is a change in the situation. Please assume that the game is on, unless you read otherwise on the website or the official club twitter feed.
